Privacy
Privacy, kept simple.
DeepClad is built to be useful without knowing who you are. This notice follows the structure expected by GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA and similar laws, written in plain language.

1. What we collect
In short: No accounts, no forms, no profiles.
You can use every DeepClad feature without signing up. We do not ask for your name, email, CV or location, and searches you run in the career explorer stay in your browser.
Like any website, our hosting provider processes technical data (IP address, browser type, requested page, time) to deliver pages, protect against abuse and produce aggregate traffic statistics.
2. Cookies and local storage
In short: One preference, on your device only.
We store a single item, deepclad-theme, in your browser's local storage to remember light, dark or system appearance. It is strictly necessary for a feature you choose, contains no identifier and is never sent to us. We set no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, so no consent banner is required.
Clear it at any time via your browser settings.
3. Why and on what legal basis
In short: Legitimate interest in running a secure site.
Technical hosting data is processed on the basis of legitimate interests (operating, securing and improving the service). We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not use it for profiling or automated decisions about you.
4. Third parties and transfers
In short: Hosting and font delivery only.
Pages are served by our hosting platform and typefaces by Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address when fonts load. External resource links (for example OSHA or NFPA) take you to sites with their own policies. Where providers process data outside your country, they rely on recognised safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
5. Retention
Hosting logs are kept only as long as the provider needs for security and operations. Your theme preference stays on your device until you clear it.
6. Your rights
In short: Access, deletion, objection — and very little to delete.
Depending on where you live you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, and to complain to your local data-protection authority. Because we hold no account data, most requests are satisfied by clearing your browser storage. California residents: we do not sell or share personal information.
7. Children
DeepClad is intended for people aged 16 and over exploring careers. It knowingly collects no personal data from anyone.
8. Changes to this notice
If we add features such as accounts or AI guidance, we will update this notice before they launch and change the review date above.
